SCRIBER - ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY

We prohibit any use of Scriber to send content or messages that include (or link to) any of the following:
- anything that’s illegal in in any U.S. jurisdiction, such as messages about cannabis;
- pornography, sexual products, sexually explicit material and sexual services;
- firearms-related content, such as gun parts, ammunition or hunting paraphernalia;
- explicit encouragement to buy a particular alcoholic beverage (for example, Creators can make a cocktail recipe, drink a glass of wine, etc. but cannot promote the sale of specific products, like a sponsorship deal);
- illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia;
- products, services, or content commonly associated with unsolicited messages (basically, spam), such as:
- online and direct pharmaceutical sales,
- “get rich quick” schemes, such as work-at-home programs and pyramid schemes
- debt collection or forgiveness, such as credit repair and debt relief;
- high-risk financial services, such as payday loans, short-term high-interest loans, financial advice from unregistered individuals or businesses, student loans and cryptocurrencies; or
- gambling, such as casino apps, gambling websites, horse and dog racing and betting on college or professional sporting events.
- harmful or illegal software or code, such as pirated computer programs, viruses, worms or Trojan horses;
- material that displays any person in an illicit or otherwise exploitative manner;
- anyone’s private or personal information without such party’s prior express written consent (or parents’ prior express written consent in the case of a minor);
- any defamatory, fraudulent, scandalous, threatening or harassing activity;
- objectionable content including obscenity, violence, bigotry or hatred, and any discrimination on the basis of race, sex, religion, nationality, ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, political affiliation or age;
- false, misleading, or inaccurate information;
- the advocacy, promotion or other encouragement of violence against any government, organization, group or individual, or any instruction, information or assistance in causing or carrying out such violence;
- any education records (as defined under FERPA and other educational privacy laws);
- material that violates the rights of third parties, such as copyright, trademark, trade secret, publicity or privacy rights; and
- any derogatory or negative mention of any wireless carrier.
